Juno was so loved before she even set a hoof on this earth. Juno is the result of years of hoping, planning and dreaming. She is the total package – beauty, brains, charm and lovely movement. She was bred for dressage and her pedigree reads like the who’s who of the dressage world. Her bloodlines would make her an asset to any breeding program. We believe she would truly shine, however, as a performance partner. Juno loves to be around people, is kind, inquisitive and unflappable. She has been well loved from day one and is easy to deal with on the ground. She has been raised on pasture in a herd setting in hopes of raising her in a manner that will preserve her physical and mental soundness for a lifetime. To know her is to love her. Her endearing personality and keen attitude make her shine. She is truly a once in a lifetime girl and will make someone a best friend for life. She is a heart horse looking for her human.
Juno is was started in November 2017 with 60 days professional training under Jenneke at High Thorn Equestrian Centre. Juno was a straight forward and sensible start. After approximately 40 rides Juno was going w/t/c fairly well in a frame. She is quite well balanced for a 3 year old with a quick and active hind. She is an “old soul” and does not look nor act like a “baby horse”. In January 2018 we brought her home from the trainer and she is being consistently worked until sold. We recently ran her through the jump chute and she approached the exercise calmly and sensibly with a very cute jump. She has an amateur friendly temperament and endears herself to anyone who comes in contact with her. Everyone remarks on her kind and sensible demeanour. She would be an ideal mount for someone looking for a quality horse in a compact package to bring along in a program. Juno’s price will increase as training progresses. She is current on all farrier, vaccines, deworming, performance dentistry and has been recently worked on by massage/chiro in preparation to become a performance horse. She has been well maintained through life 🙂 We do not have any preliminary xrays. She passed flexions Oct 18/17 prior to being sent to trainer. She has a current negative coggins and veterinary pre-purchase exams are welcome. |
